Howdy farmers,
an update is going to arrive tomorrow, July 24th, and it is filled with new content, improvements, and helpful features for your farms. Here’s a complete overview of what’s to come:
New Items For The Clothing Economy
The clothing economy continues to grow with the introduction of two new crops. On the Gourmet Farm, you can now plant flax seeds and cotton seeds in the garden. Their special seeds can be produced in the nursery and also in the farm laboratory.
A new recipe is being added to the bakery: Flaxseed Muffins, using flax and eggs as ingredients.
New items will also appear in the market contracts.
The library now includes three new handbooks:
- Flax Handbook
- Flaxseed Muffin Handbook
- Cotton (Garden) Handbook
Please note: The edge plant “Cotton” and the new seed “Cotton” are the same product. You can use either of them for all cotton recipes. The handbook for the edge plant version will remain in the game and continue to exist alongside the new option.
New Decoration Set Arrives
A brand-new decoration set is rolling into the Balloon Wheel of Fortune: Set #41 – Trains. Players can collect the first three parts of the set through the ranking rewards:
- Locomotive
- Cargo waggon
- First passenger waggon
The final piece, Second passenger waggon, will be introduced next month through an upcoming charity event. More details will follow soon.
New “Show Production Info” Button
A new “Show Production Info” button has been added to help players better understand how to produce and use items. You can find this button in the bottom left corner of production windows.
When clicked, it will display:
- The simplest and most direct ways to obtain the selected item
- A second tab that shows where the selected item can be used
This feature will also appear in quests that require specific products, helping you gather what you need more efficiently.
New Community Building: Olive Greenhouse
A new Community Building has been added to the Flower Farm: the Olive Greenhouse.
This building allows you to store Olive Groves and start productions directly from within. It can be upgraded to level 5 and offers 8 storage slots at maximum level.
Increased Limits For Barns And Apartment Blocks
- The maximum number of Barns on the Main Farm has increased from 3 to 4.
- The maximum number of Apartment Blocks has increased from 2 to 3 on the following farms: Main Farm, Gourmet Farm and Flower Farm.
Bug Fixes
- Lobscouse recipe: Text error in Mermaid Bay has been corrected.
- Apartment Blocks: The demolish button for individual houses is now inactive if there are too few free workers to perform the action.
- Field: Additional harvest benefits from handbooks now apply correctly.
- Urgent Delivery Event: Harvesting premium carrot seeds from a spectacular field over the barn’s storage limit now shows the correct dialogue.
- Farm Laboratory: Recipe icons no longer overlay the text; both are now visible.
- Museum/Gallery: The displayed value of additional village happiness now accurately reflects the actual increase.
- Horse Season – Hall of Fame: Tabs grouping past events by year are now in chronological order.
- Big Farm Mobile App: Village happiness dialogue now displays correctly.
