What’s Changing?
Starting with this update, you will now have the ability to change your email address without requiring access to the old one.
Security Reminders: Your Account Matters!
Following this change, your account security is more important than ever. Here are some golden rules:
- Use a Strong Password: Ensure your password is strong and includes a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. A strong password is your first line of defense against unauthorized access. Never use easy to guess passwords (personal information, etc) or something like “1234”. These are the first things that people with malicious intent will try.
- NEVER share your password with anyone. Your login credentials are personal, and sharing them compromises the security of your account. Not only is this forbidden by our Terms and Conditions, but you will take the risk of someone stealing your account.
The ability to change your email address without the need for access to the old one means that anyone with access to your account can change the registered email and take the account for themselves – to avoid this, simply make sure you are the only one accessing your account and that you have a strong password.
